Saving and repairing historic windows should always be main priority to preserve the character and integrity of a historic building, but it’s not always be reasonable or possible. In this lecture, we will look at the anatomy of a historic double hung window and why windows are such a character-defining feature of an old building. We will also look at how to approach replacement when it is needed in order to manage the compromise that is inevitable when using modern manufactured products.
This is a FREE, HYBRID event that you can attend in person or enjoy via zoom.
