In the 1890s, architects in Chicago sought to develop a distinctly American style of architecture. This style came to be known as the Prairie Style. Frank Lloyd Wright, one of the architects who championed and developed this style, is now considered the most famous American architect of all time. In this lecture, our foundation founder, Kathleen Stanford, will view and discuss some of Wright’s major Prairie Style buildings, and some of the buildings in Utah and Murray specifically that were designed in the Prairie Style.
Register below to let us know you’re coming (in-person or virtually), and you will also be entered to win our giveaway, which will be held at the end of the lecture.
