Volunteer

Volunteer participation within Historic Murray First Foundation is a great way to stay connected with your community and the city of the Murray. Volunteers provide an important link to our community and assist in fostering greater awareness of our city’s heritage. Volunteers also expand their knowledge on architecture and learn more about the benefits of preservation and restoration of our historic landmarks, in addition to developing new friends. We provide educational training and assistance for all volunteer opportunities.

Historic Murray First Foundation is in need of volunteers to help with the following:

• Social media management
• Event planning & day-of help
• Preparing postcards for mailing
• Canvassing neighborhoods for support to implement a Local Historic District in Murray
• Filling a leadership position on the Board of Directors
• Researching various topics
