“In 1958 we were living at the Iris Apartments on State Street in downtown Murray. Bishop Brown was our Bishop at the time. He asked me to be the Music Chorister for the Sacrament Meetings. It was Easter Sunday and it was the closing hymn. You had to step up on a podium so everyone could see you while conducting the music. At the end of the song, I stepped down off the high podium and FELL. The Bishopric all came to help me up. I was so embarrassed!! My husband was in the audience laughing at me. I wasn’t hurt, just my pride. We were only in the ward for two years. Bought a new home in Murray’s Hidden Village. Murray First Ward was a great ward with nice and friendly members.”
